What exercises to follow for a hunky upper body?

Many individuals always use many terms with regards to ‘weightlifting’, ‘resistance training’, and other modes of exercise. That is because people perceive the fitness regime in different ways. But strength training involves building muscles with the help of equipment and a set of exercises. So, when you wish to boast an attractive personality, you need to move with an upper body workout. To make things easier for you, we have made a list of exercises that you will enjoy doing while taking care of your health.

Pushups

When it’s time to do pushups, you first need to place your palms gently on the floor. Late, you need to extend your legs and maintain a certain distance between them. Additionally, you also need to position your back at an oblique angle. While you lower down your body, you also have to push it back with your arms. To perceive the difference, you simply have to keep the back flat till you finish off with the set of pushups. 

Overhead Press

To perform this exercise during an upper body workout, you need to stand with your back straight and some distance between your legs. Afterwards, you need to set the bar at the level of your shoulders. Later, you need to lift the bar right above your head and push your head in the forward direction. While returning to the initial position, you must lower the bar steadily. If you’re not used to doing an overhead press, it’s better to lift the bar without any weights. Once you’re able to gain muscle strength, you could add some weights and start doing the set. 

Incline Bench Press

Once you start with the upper body workout regularly, you can incorporate an incline bench press. Initially, you need to set the bench at an angle of 45 degrees. Next, you need to lie on your back and lift the dumbbell held in both hands a bit later. Finally, as you attain balance at the shoulder level, you need to lift them in the air. But, while you are acquiring the initial position, you need to flex your elbows and place the dumbbells at shoulder level. Bentover Row

For such an exercise, you need to bend your upper body slightly in the forward direction. Later, you have to lift lightweight dumbbells and lift them back towards the shoulder level. As you squeeze inwards, you should gradually return back to the initial position. If you’re doing this exercise for the first time, then it’s better to lift the dumbbells and check whether you can sustain the weights.

Deadlifts

If you’re concerned about strengthening your back during an upper body workout, then you could try doing deadlifts. Firstly, you need to stand with your feet apart and your hip bent backwards. Next, you need to keep the bar in front of you a bit later and start lifting it gradually. As you proceed ahead, you must make sure that your knees are slightly bent. As soon as you lift the bar, you need to keep your back straight and lock the position. You can then repeat the exercise by returning to the initial position. 

Finally, if you’re not sure about the different exercises, you can check them out with your friends. Over a period of time, you shouldn’t forget to drink whey protein so that it doesn’t take a long time for muscle recovery.
