Jock Itch – A Common Problem In Athletes

  • Prolonged exposure to moisture and friction from clothes can also trigger jock itch. Wear loose-fitting clothing made of cotton. Cotton allows your skin to breathe better than other fabrics when you’re active.
  • Use an antifungal powder on your groin after showering or bathing. The powder will help kill any fungus on your skin before it has time to take hold.
  • Wash your groin area with soap and water every day before putting on clean underwear and socks so that any fungus that may have gotten onto them doesn’t spread to other parts of your body as well
